Habitat: nomadic shark in deep waters that line reefs
Diet: Bony fish, crustaceans, seals, birds, squid, turtles, sea snakes, dolphins
Reproduction: Ovoviviparous, gestation period 14-16 months, 10-80 pups, reproduces every 3 years only
Sexual maturity: around 2.3-3.5 meter (7.5-11.5 ft.); around 10-12 years of age
