White Tip Reef Shark (Triaendon obesus) is a requiem shark and belongs to the family Carcharhinidae.

Size: small shark not exceeding 1.6 m (5.2 ft.)

Depth: 8-40 meter (26-31 ft.)

Habitat: Coral Reefs

Diet: Bony fish, crustaceans and octopus

Reproduction: Viviparous, gestation period 10-13 months, 1-6 pups

Sexual maturity: around 1.1 meter (3.6 ft.); 8-9 years of age
